Overview

Carlo Majer concentrates in advising national and international clients on various employment matters, including industrial relations, restructuring, re-organizations of workforce and transfer of business.

Moreover, he represents employers in a wide range of employment related litigation in all courts, including the Italian Supreme Court, and before several administrative agencies, including the Ministry of Labour.

His areas of competence include a broad array of issues relating to employment law, including:

  • Litigation and trials, particularly with regard to transfer of business issues and executive employment relationships
  • International advisory and cross border operations
  • Company policies
  • Restructuring and re-organization of the workforce
  • Transfer of business

Carlo frequently speaks on a range of employment law topics both nationally and internationally. He also regularly writes articles in this field. He has been internationally recognized in Chambers and Legal 500, and in Italy in TopLegal and LegalCommunity.

In the recent past, he taught at AGI's (Italian Association of Employer Lawyers) School of Higher Education as a visiting professor.
