On April 18, 2012, the House subcommittee on health, employment, labor, and pensions heard testimony on rules proposed by the Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs that would require federal contractors to move toward a 7 percent disabled workforce and hire more veterans, and to document and justify decisions not to hire disabled or veteran applicants.
