Littler Mendelson’s Thomas Benjamin Huggett and Keith Jacoby Named “BTI Client Service All-Stars”

BTI Consulting Recognizes Philadelphia Attorney Thomas Benjamin Huggett and Los Angeles Attorney Keith Jacoby for Client Service Excellence

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 24, 2010) – Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, is proud to announce that Thomas Benjamin Huggett and Keith Jacoby, shareholders in Littler’s Philadelphia and Los Angeles offices respectively, have been named "Client Service All-Stars" by The BTI Consulting Group.

The list of elite attorneys is based upon in-depth interviews with nearly 300 corporate counsel. Interviewees nominated 318 lawyers who have demonstrated an exemplary understanding of business issues, outstanding thought-leadership, and dedication to client needs.

Huggett represents management in litigation of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and the Mine Safety and Health Act matters, and has appeared before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission and state and federal courts. In addition, Huggett counsels clients on the development and implementation of safety and health policies, and provides assistance to companies with OSHA compliance, whistleblower discrimination complaints under Sarbanes-Oxley, and environmental and transportation laws investigated by OSHA. He also represents many unionized clients in litigation before the National Labor Relations Board, arbitrations, collective bargaining, and all other aspects of labor-management relations.

Huggett received his J.D. from Catholic University cum laude, and B.A. from Emory University.

Jacoby’s practice focuses on wage and hour class actions and high-stakes discrimination cases.. He has tried two large class actions to a verdict, and secured multiple judgments and decertification orders in the over 100 class actions he has handled for Littler clients. His clients span a number of different industries, including transportation, retail, health care and professional services. He also performs pro bono work, sitting as Chair of the Legal Committee on the Board of Trustees for Westside Neighborhood School in Los Angeles, California.

Jacoby received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and B.A. from Cornell University, with honors.
