Littler Global Member BDS Asesores Expands to Dominican Republic with the Addition of Angelina Salegna Bacó

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 14, 2014) – Littler Global member BDS Asesores, the leading labor and employment firm in Central America, has opened a new office in the Dominican Republic with the addition of local practitioner Angelina Salegna Bacó. Bacó, previously operating her own law practice, specializes in employment litigation, among other areas. This expansion further enhances BDS’ capabilities in the region while enabling Littler to deepen its presence throughout Central and Latin America.

“We are excited to grow Littler’s platform through the service offerings of our Littler Global member firms,” said Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth, co-managing directors of Littler. “Our ability to tap into the resources of local firms ensures that Littler’s physical footprint anticipates and meets the needs of clients wherever they do business. We look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead for us in the region.”

According to Marco Durante, managing partner with BDS Asesores, “Our move into the Dominican Republic is significant and we are thrilled to have someone as talented as Angelina lead the effort. Our increasing work throughout the Central America region, combined with our association with labor and employment powerhouse Littler, allows us to more effectively serve multinational clients.”

Bacó will be instrumental in promoting the Littler and BDS vision in the Dominican Republic. “We are certain that the employer community in our country will benefit from the services of a global law firm like Littler,” she said.
