Littler Certified Gold Standard Firm for Third Consecutive Year by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 25, 2013) - Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the world’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, has been certified as a “Gold Standard Firm”  by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF), an organization dedicated to assisting women in law assume leadership roles. This is the third consecutive year Littler has achieved this distinction.

To be eligible for Gold Standard certification, law firms must have at least 200 practicing lawyers in the United States.  Firms are recognized if they can demonstrate that women represent a meaningful percentage of their equity partners and that women are involved in leadership, governance positions and compensation committees, and are also highly compensated.

Littler values the importance of women leaders at every level of the firm. Its Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) focuses on developing and training of women leaders by offering mentoring and leadership development opportunities. The firm also offers flex-time and remote working opportunities to balance work/life considerations.
