Fortunately, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charges alleging religious and national origin discrimination declined in 2013. Unfortunately, the EEOC still views both areas as more than ripe for systemic and individual litigation. This webinar will highlight religious accommodation issues raised in recent litigation such as: When is an employer on notice of an employee's or applicant's need for religious accommodation? And what role should the potential burden on co-workers play in an undue hardship determination? We will also explore national origin discrimination issues, including: What is the EEOC doing for immigrant and migrant workers? And what are some best practices for avoiding national origin discrimination claims?
