Overview

Pamela E. Woodside has over 20 years of experience practicing law, and has served as second chair in jury and court trials as well as arbitrations. She practices before all state and federal courts in California and all employment-related regulatory agencies.

Before joining Littler, Pamela was assistant general counsel, labor and employment law, for a national Fortune 500 retailer. Prior to her in-house role, she spent 18 years in private practice focusing on labor and employment, including EPLI; professional liability (lawyer malpractice defense as well as defense of architects and real estate professionals); and complex commercial litigation claims.

Pamela represents employers in:

  • Wrongful termination and employment discrimination litigation
  • Title VII proceedings, including race, sex, religious, disability and age harassment and discrimination
  • Whistleblower retaliation
  • Wage and hour claims

Additionally, she defends various corporations in cases in state or federal courts alleging Fair Employment and Housing Act violations, wage and hour claims and class action, and whistleblower and wrongful termination claims. She has obtained dismissals via summary judgment in numerous cases.
