Jillian S. Folger-Hartwell is an attorney specializing in providing legal and practical counsel to clients regarding personnel issues, including personnel policies, employee handbooks, hiring, discipline, and discharge. Jillian litigates employment matters before Massachusetts and Rhode Island state and federal courts and represents clients in administrative proceedings. Jillian also represents unionized employers in grievance arbitrations and related matters.
Previously, Jillian worked for the American Arbitration Association, managing arbitration proceedings for a variety of labor clients.
After law school, Jillian was a law clerk to Justice Robert G. Flanders, Jr. of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. During law school, she participated in the civil litigation clinic, representing clients on matters involving child custody and visitation, and landlord/tenant disputes.
