Overview

As a member of the Littler CaseSmart – Charges™ team and based in West Virginia, Pamela J. Ferrell is responsible for handling charges from investigation to conclusion. She works on client-dedicated service teams, focusing on handling administrative agency charges. She investigates charge allegations, reviews pertinent documents, interviews key witnesses, and provides clients an assessment of the risks associated with the charge. In partnership with the client, she defends the charge by drafting persuasive position statements and responses to the agency’s requests for information.

Prior to joining Littler, Pam was a partner at a mid-sized firm where she practiced labor and employment law and litigation. She helped employers develop workplace policies and practices that are compliant with state and federal law. Pam defended employers against claims of employment discrimination, workers’ compensation discrimination, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour claims, among others. Pam also trained employers on compliance with applicable laws, and conducted training sessions on behalf of employers regarding compliance with pertinent policies.
