Overview

Maria-Jose Malaver-Reyes represents and counsels clients on labor and employment matters. 

Prior to joining Littler, Maria-Jose was a trial attorney and legal honors attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She focused on litigating internal employment matters related to discrimination, retaliation, and merit systems principles before the EEOC and the MSPB. Maria-Jose provided advice to internal management clients about employees on probationary status, implementing performance plans, and terminations. With HUD as the enforcement agency for the Fair Housing Act, she also assisted in investigating and litigating fair housing complaints.
