Overview

J.P. Dowdle focuses his practice on labor and employment matters.

Prior to joining Littler, J.P. represented primarily construction and food services companies in employment disputes, WISHA citations, and workers' compensation matters while with a small Seattle firm. He assisted clients litigating within Washington’s complex administrative laws, including before branch agencies, boards, commissions, and offices. He frequently achieved favorable settlements and orders in administrative court, and also obtained favorable outcomes for clients in both state and federal court. 

J.P. previously worked at an insurance defense firm representing businesses in a variety of practice areas, including employment disputes, construction disputes, and personal injury actions. He counseled employers of all sizes throughout all aspects of litigation from pre-litigation disputes and risk mitigation through trial. He also successfully achieved favorable results for clients in complex discovery disputes, mediation, arbitration, and on motions for summary judgement.
