In the last five years, changes in employment and labor law have been remarkable in both scale and scope. From the Affordable Care Act, to unprecedented efforts by the NLRB to assert control over the non-union workplace, to the rapid escalation of local efforts to increase the minimum wage and expand benefits for employees, this decade is already proving to be one of historic change for the employer community. The mid-point of the decade is a good time to reflect on lessons we have learned, new developments that have arisen and challenges that lie ahead.
The inaugural Tri-State Employer Conference will explore the important legal developments, emerging trends, and compliance requirements facing every employer, and consider what dramatic changes employers can expect to face in the next five years.
