Littler Mendelson Bolsters Southern California Presence with Key Additions

SAN DIEGO, CA (September 8, 2009)—Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, is pleased to announce the arrival of attorneys Michael Leggieri, Dawn Fonseca and Adam Rosenthal to its San Diego office.

The addition of San Diego’s newest members continues the firm’s strategic expansion and strengthens the wage and hour and employment litigation practices.

Michael Leggieri, who joins Littler as an associate, most recently served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Cathy Ann Bencivengo in the United States District Court in San Diego.  He was a summer law clerk for Wingert, Grebing, Brubaker & Goodwin and also served as a law clerk to the California Office of the Attorney General.  He received his B.S. from Cornell University in 2002 and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2007.

Dawn Fonseca, who also joins Littler as an associate, concentrates on a broad range of California employment matters including wage and hour class action, FEHA, discrimination and executive compensation.  Prior to joining Littler, Dawn was an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker.  She is licensed to practice in the state of California and before the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of California.  She received her B.A. from Northwestern University in 2003 and her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, Boalt Hall, in 2008.

Adam Rosenthal, who joins Littler as an associate, focuses on employment litigation.  His experience includes litigating and counseling employers on a number of employment issues such as discrimination, wage and hour practices, EEOC/DFEH investigations and trade secret protection matters.  Adam is admitted to practice in the state of California, all state and federal courts in California and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  Prior to joining Littler, he was an associate at Solomon, Ward, Seidenwurm & Smith.  He received his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2001, and his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, in 2006.
