Martha Keon counsels employers ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies regarding compliance with the many local, state and federal laws and regulations that govern the workplace. Martha regularly appears on behalf of employers in administrative proceedings, arbitrations and state and federal court. Her practice also includes defense of wage and hour class and collective actions.
Martha’s recent litigation successes include defeating conditional certification on a number of off-the-clock claims in several FLSA collective actions and bringing those cases to resolution. Martha was also instrumental in securing the dismissal of a parent company from a class action alleging failure to pay for accrued vacation and business expenses, which greatly decreased the scope of the action and brought the case to resolution.
Martha joined Littler in Minneapolis, became a shareholder in Los Angeles, and now practices in Philadelphia.
In law school, Martha was associate editor of The Law Review.
