Biography
Mr. Roth practices exclusively in the area of labor and employment law, representing management in state and federal courts and before various governmental agencies. He represents employers throughout the nation, defending them in cases that involve alleged discrimination, wrongful termination, employment-related torts and wage and hour claims including class and collective action claims. While defense litigation is an important part of his practice, Mr. Roth also dedicates a significant amount of his time to client counseling, advising clients on everything from sexual harassment prevention to identification of potential workplace violence issues, effective use of performance appraisals and litigation avoidance. Mr. Roth is the Office Managing Shareholder of Littler's San Diego office.

Mr. Roth represents companies ranging in size from Fortune 50 to “mom and pop” operations. He is an experienced trial lawyer and has tried to verdict cases involving the electronics manufacturing, defense industries, and retailers, among others, in both state and federal court. Mr. Roth’s clients include manufacturing, retail, capital management and other financial services entities, restaurants, trade associations, motion picture entities, and professional service firms.
