Biography
Mr. Brown is the Office Managing Shareholder of Littler's San Jose office and is co-creator of the Firm's Risk Management Program. Mr. Brown is an experienced litigator with a special emphasis on complex litigation including class and collective actions, wage and hour litigation and advice, sexual harassment, employment discrimination and wrongful termination. He also regularly counsels employers on day-to-day employment law issues, such as compliance with workplace statutes and regulations, personnel policies, and risk management protocols including mandatory arbitration. He is recognized as an authority on employment practices liability insurance (EPLI) issues and has authored several articles on the subject. He has also been interviewed or quoted on the subject by several leading publications and news sources including The National Law Journal, The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg Financial News. His client focus is diverse, including large retail chains, financial institutions, high-technology employers, insurance companies, and professional sports franchises.
