Littler Appoints New Leadership to Its Affinity Groups and Diversity & Inclusion Council

(March 22, 2021) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, is pleased to announce new leadership for its ‘Ohana and Reunión affinity groups. Additionally, the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Council added six new members.

Shareholder and D&I Council co-chair Edward Chyun (Cleveland) and Shareholder Judy Iriye (Los Angeles) join Shareholder Danielle Herring (Houston) as co-chairs of Littler’s ‘Ohana affinity group. Shareholders Mel Cole (San Francisco) and Daniel Gomez-Sanchez (Long Island) will serve as co-chairs of Littler’s Reunión affinity group.

Littler’s affinity groups are focused on providing an inclusive community of support for diverse attorneys through professional development and mentorship initiatives, as well as offering a forum for members to connect on a personal level.

Littler also added new members to its 2021 D&I Council, including newly-appointed Chief Inclusion, Equity & Diversity Officer Paul Bateman (Chicago), Shareholders Mel Cole (San Francisco), Margaret Parnell Hogan (Denver), Tedd Kochman (Newark) and Lauren Schwartzreich (New York), and Associate Nathaniel Jenkins (Sacramento).

The D&I Council is responsible for creating, implementing and reviewing firmwide inclusion, equity and diversity strategies and initiatives. The Council comprises more than 20 lawyers and professional staff, who not only represent the diversity of employees at Littler, but also ensure that everyone has a voice in the process.
