Tatiana Leal-González focuses her practice in labor and employment law litigation. She defends and represents employers before local and federal courts and administrative agencies, with experience in a broad range of matters including wrongful termination, sexual harassment, retaliation and discrimination.
In addition to her litigation practice, Tatiana advises and counsels clients on human resources management issues, such as hiring, contracts, and leave and accommodation. She also offers guidance regarding layoffs, severance, misconduct, discrimination and preventing litigation.
Tatiana assists employers with a range of complex issues related to Puerto Rico employee benefits. She has handled coverage determinations of Puerto Rico plans under Title IV of ERISA, correction proceedings with the U.S. Department of Labor, and filing of ruling requests of pension plans for qualification with Puerto Rico tax authorities.
