“We are proud to have William representing Littler in his new role as president-elect of the Asian American Bar Association of New York,” said John Bauer, Long Island office managing shareholder. “He is an incredible talent and his leadership qualities, combined with his commitment to AABANY and the Asian Pacific American community, will be integral to helping the organization achieve its broader goals.”

One of the most prominent and active diverse bar associations in New York, AABANY has over 1,500 members, including practicing attorneys in the private and public sectors, in-house lawyers, judges, professors and law students. AABANY’s mission is to improve the study and practice of law, and the fair administration of justice for all by ensuring the meaningful participation of Asian Pacific Americans in the legal profession. AABANY seeks not only to encourage the professional growth of its members but also to advocate for the Asian Pacific American community as a whole.

Ng has been active in AABANY for over 10 years and is a founding co-chair of the organization’s labor and employment law committee. Additionally, he has held a variety of leadership roles, including as a member of the board of directors, vice-president of finance and development, and recording secretary, as well as co-chair for the communications, young lawyers, government and public sector, and student outreach committees.

“It is an honor to be elected to this role during these challenging and unprecedented times, and I am excited to continue serving this esteemed organization as president-elect,” Ng said. “I look forward to upholding AABANY’s mission, serving our members and the greater Asian Pacific American community, while expanding opportunities for Asian Pacific American attorneys in New York.”
