Littler Mendelson Welcomes Tazamisha Imara and Corinn Jackson to the Los Angeles Office

Los Angeles, CA/ January 5, 2009 -- Littler Mendelson, the nation's largest employment and labor law firm representing management, is pleased to announce the arrival of attorneys Tazamisha Imara and Corinn Jackson to the firm’s Los Angeles office, both formerly of Kauff McClain & McGuire LLP.

Imara joins Littler as of counsel and has litigated a broad range of labor and employment matters on behalf of management clients, including claims of harassment, discrimination and wrongful termination. She also brings to Littler her experience in wage and hour class action litigation, in addition to her background in advising employers on compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act. Prior to joining Littler, Imara was a partner at the Los Angeles office of Kauff McClain & McGuire LLP . Imara received a B.A. from Harvard University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard. She received her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley – Boalt Hall School of Law.

Corinn Jackson joins Littler as an associate, having worked on a wide variety of complex litigation matters. She has experience defending claims brought by individual plaintiffs as well as those brought as class actions. Prior to joining Littler, Jackson was an associate at Kauff McClain & McGuire LLP in Los Angeles. Jackson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She then went on to earn her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as an editor for the Civil Right-Civil Liberties Law Review.
