Tanya van Nieuwstadt is a seasoned employment lawyer with particular experience in complex employment matters such as business restructures, bonus disputes, senior level hires and (collective) dismissals. In addition, Tanya is a deep knowledge in relation to the legal framework and guidance of sick employees.
Tanya is skilled in understanding the nuances and obligations of an employer’s pay equity obligations. She partners with clients on navigating the real-world implications of evolving pay transparency legislation and is a member of Littler’s coordinating committee on the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
Tanya regularly lectures at various employment law seminars and webinars. She teaches postgraduate courses on a wide variety of employment law related topics.
