Overview

Sevag Shirvanian focuses his practice on representing businesses in employment disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour and wrongful termination matters in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration and administrative hearings. He also has experience representing clients in collective bargaining negotiations and in unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board.

Sevag also provides employers with advice and counseling regarding various employment-related issues, including policy development, management training, workplace investigations, discipline and discharge. He has experience representing clients in general business litigation matters, including contract, intellectual property and real estate disputes.

Prior to joining Littler, Sevag practiced labor and employment law as an associate in the Los Angeles office of a large, national, general practice firm. While attending law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Barry Russell, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.

Sevag regularly volunteers for the local chapters of several nationally and locally recognized nonprofit organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America, the Armenian General Benevolent Union and the Organization of Istanbul Armenians.
