Scott K. Johnson’s employment and labor practice focuses on employers, encompassing a hybrid of counseling and litigation. Scott is an experienced litigator who has represented and defended employers in matters involving claims for wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, ADA violations, breach of contract, and violations of noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements, as well as wage and hour disputes. Handling both single plaintiff employment actions and class action defense, he practices in California, Pennsylvania, and Washington’s state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and other forums. Scott also has experience representing clients before federal and state agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, and other state and local administrative agencies.
