
Russell Blakey represents and advises employers on a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including single plaintiff, wage and hour, and PAGA actions. Russell is passionate about advising employers on how to navigate California’s complex and ever-changing labor and employment legal landscape.
Prior to joining Littler, Russell was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Los Angeles, serving as lead counsel in complex litigation cases, including tort defense, employment discrimination, and immigration matters. Russell also represented federal agencies by providing legal analysis, strategy, and recommendations at every stage of litigation.
During law school, Russell served as an editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and competed on the nationally ranked Byrne Trial Advocacy Team.
