Rachel Ring advises employers on a wide range of traditional labor and employee relations matters, helping organizations navigate complex workplace challenges while minimizing risk and productive labor relationships. Rachel advises and represents employers in a variety of traditional labor law matters, including:

  • Collective bargaining negotiations
  • Contract administration
  • Responding to unfair labor practice claims
  • Labor arbitrations
  • Union organizing
  • Employee relations

Rachel regularly designs and delivers training programs for employers, HR professionals, and frontline managers focused on employee relations, labor compliance and practical solutions to day-to-day workforce issues. She is a frequent presenter to both large and small employers, providing clear, actionable guidance on labor relations strategy, supervisory best practices, and dispute avoidance. Her approach emphasizes proactive counseling and practical implementation aligned with business realities. 

In addition to traditional labor law matters, Rachel counsels employers on compliance with federal and state drug and alcohol testing laws, including policy development and enforcement issues. 

Prior to joining Littler, Rachel served as an assistant general counsel and labor relations specialist in the public sector in the healthcare and transportation industries. In these roles, she advised on collective bargaining, labor agreements, and employee relations matters and conducted grievance meetings. 

Before pursing a legal career, Rachel worked as a writer and researcher for national and local news outlets – experience that informs her clear communication style and ability to translate complex labor law issues into practical guidance for employers.
