Kelly A. Walker focuses her practice on defending employers in single and multiplaintiff litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and contract claims, among others. Kelly has experience litigating before various agencies, in state and federal courts, and in arbitration. In addition to her litigation practice, Kelly advises employers on handling requests for leave and accommodations, employee discipline and termination, and conducts workplace trainings. Additionally, she assists employers in the preparation and revision of employee handbooks and policies, employment contracts, and severance agreements.
Earlier in her career, Kelly practiced workers’ compensation. She first began her career as a plaintiff’s attorney representing individuals before transitioning to the defense side representing employers and insurance carriers. It was here that she discovered her passion for management-side representation, being able to assist businesses with preventive advice and counseling and intricate problem solving.
