Juan Felipe Santos has more than two decades of experience representing and advising employers in labor and employment matters in Puerto Rico. His practice is dedicated exclusively to labor and employment law, including litigation, administrative proceedings, workplace counseling, and compliance matters.
Juan represents clients through all phases of lawsuits and administrative matters, ranging from individual charges and cases to collective and class actions. His experience includes wage and hour disputes, employment discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, leaves and accommodation, defamation, unfair competition and trade secrets, and other employment-related torts.
Juan counsels management on human resource compliance and policy matters from hiring through termination. He provides guidance on handbooks and policies, workplace practices, employment-related risk management, and strategies for liability mitigation.
Juan also advises companies establishing, restructuring, or expanding operations in Puerto Rico, including through employment law due diligence audits and strategic compliance assessments.
