Joseph Lewis has extensive experience representing employers in sophisticated labor and employment matters, including workplace litigation, labor relations issues, and government investigations.
Joe regularly defends employers against claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and other workplace disputes. He also represents employers in class and representative actions, as well as traditional labor and trade secret matters. His experience spans all stages of litigation, from pre-suit counseling and strategic case assessment through trial, arbitration, and negotiated resolution.
He advises employers across a range of industries—including aerospace, automotive, and healthcare—on compliance, workplace investigations, labor relations, and emerging employment law issues. In addition to his litigation practice, Joe counsels clients on the labor and employment aspects of corporate transactions, drafts and negotiates employment-related agreements, and represents employers in government investigations, such as matters before the U.S. Department of Justice's Immigrant and Employee Rights Section.
