John E. Solis

John E. Solis is an experienced labor and employment litigator with an extensive history of representing and defending employers in all manner of single-plaintiff, class, and representative actions. He also provides client-focused advice and counseling to employers, covering critical same-day executive decisions, routine employee handbook and policy audits, and evaluations of wage and hour practices.

John has helped countless public and private sector employers navigate high-risk bet-the-company litigation and emerge unscathed. To date, John’s proudest achievement is defending the only public hospital in a small California county, which was facing certain bankruptcy in the face of several years of alleged wage and hour violations. He negotiated a favorable resolution for his client and that hospital continues servicing its community today. John’s litigation efforts often highlight the good-natured people behind the corporate façade, reminding finders of fact and law that there are real people with real stakes on both sides of the aisle.

John is a proud graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law where he was a frequent Dean’s List honoree and an active member of the school’s Asian and Latino legal societies.
