Overview

Since graduating from law school, Janel R. Ablon has practiced exclusively in labor and employment law, advising and representing clients in disputes involving:

  • Discrimination
  • Harassment
  • Wrongful discharge
  • Unfair competition
  • Trade secret disputes

She also has extensive experience with wage and hour issues and often defends employers in wage and hour class actions in both state and federal courts.

Additionally, Janel handles compensation disputes before the Department of Labor and California's Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Janel conducts frequent trainings for a variety of employers, particularly in the entertainment industry.

In law school, Janel was editor of the Entertainment Law Journal.
