Glorimar Irene Abel

Glorimar Irene Abel focuses her practice on labor and employment law, representing employers in litigation and administrative proceedings involving unjust dismissal, retaliation, harassment, discrimination claims, reasonable accommodation, and other employment-related matters. She also advises and represents employers in challenges to citations before the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Administration (PROSHA). Glorimar has significant appellate experience, having participated in matters that resulted in two published opinions by the Puerto Rico Supreme Court. Her background in litigation and appellate advocacy enables her to develop effective legal strategies and represent clients through all stages of dispute resolution.

Before entering private practice, Glorimar served as a law clerk in the Puerto Rico Supreme Court for the Hon. Erick Kolthoff Caraballo and the Central Research Panel. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico Law Review, won first place in the XXIV Miguel Velázquez National Debate Competition, and participated in a study abroad program at the University of Oxford Faculty of Law.
