With over 18 years of experience in labor law, Federico Bernal García is a partner in the Advisory and Ministry Unit, where he leads comprehensive legal strategies for companies across various sectors. Throughout his career, he has worked as an attorney at leading law firms in Colombia, building a broad and strategic perspective on legal practice.
Since joining Godoy Córdoba in 2010, he has been part of the Advisory, Litigation, Audit, and Collective Labor Law teams, actively participating as a trainer and negotiator in union and collective labor relations processes. His approach combines technical analysis with an understanding of organizational dynamics, allowing him to provide practical, sustainable solutions aligned with his clients' business goals.
In the academic field, he is a tenured professor in the Labor Law Specialization program at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he helps train the next generation of labor law professionals. He has also served on the board of the Bar Association multiple times and is currently part of the Editorial Board of Actualidad Laboral magazine by Legis, contributing his experience to the evolution and discussion of labor law in Colombia.
