Overview

Emily Arnett is a member of the Littler CaseSmart® team and is based in California. She is responsible for early case evaluation (ECE) for class, collective, mass and representative actions. At the outset of each matter, she identifies and reviews pertinent documents, interviews relevant witnesses, coordinates with firm data analysts to conduct damages modelling, and drafts an ECE report for clients’ cases. In keeping with each client’s litigation philosophy, she partners with the local Littler litigation team and assists in developing and executing strategies for effectively handling litigation.

Prior to joining Littler, Emily practiced as a litigation attorney in the greater metro areas of New York City, San Francisco, San Diego, and Miami, focusing on employment law and professional liability. Emily has significant experience in complex and high liability matters covering all phases of litigation from initial case strategy through trial, as well as obtaining favorable settlements through negotiation. Emily has represented clients in federal and states court and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the New York Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission on Human Rights. In addition to litigation, Emily has represented clients in mediation and counseled employers regarding a variety of issues.

Emily continues her commitment to volunteerism by supporting a number of nonprofits serving the military and veteran communities.
