Donyetta D. Bailey
Pronounced: Don-Yet-Tuh
Donyetta D. Bailey brings extensive experience representing Fortune 500 companies in employment discrimination matters in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings and administrative proceedings before the EEOC and other administrative agencies. Her employment litigation practice includes handling discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
In addition to her litigation work, Donyetta advises clients on a broad range of workplace issues, including day-to-day human resources and employee discipline matters. She has overseen the background check process for a nationwide employer and regularly drafts and updates employment policies and handbooks. Donyetta leads HR training and seminars, helping clients navigate complex employment laws and foster compliant and inclusive workplaces.
Donyetta also handles Ohio workers’ compensation matters and previously served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Ohio Attorney General’s Workers’ Compensation Section. She has taught Ohio and Kentucky workers’ compensation law as an adjunct professor, sharing her practical insights with law students.
