Daniel Quiles-Pumarejo has experience with wrongful terminations, wage and hour claims and federally assisted construction projects. He has specific knowledge and experience with the administration of the following:

- The Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (CWHSSA)
- The Copeland Act (Anti-Kick Back Act)
- The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
Daniel began his career in employment law as a federal labor standards compliance auditor. He was also a labor standards inspector with the Fair Labor Standards Bureau at Puerto Rico’s Department of Labor for five years. He is an invaluable resource for his clients in the matter of wage and hour law, a practice area where he has excelled.
Daniel is an active guest speaker in employment law related topics for human resources and industrial relations organizations, such as the Association of Labor Relations Professionals and the Employers’ Committee of the Puerto Rico Department of Labor and Human Resources.
Prior to joining Schuster Aguiló, Daniel clerked for the Hon. Efraín E. Rivera Pérez of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. He graduated at the top of his law school class and received multiple academic awards, including the most outstanding student in civil and criminal law by the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
