Overview

Brian P. FitzGerald is a management-side employment attorney with experience representing employers throughout Ohio and New York federal and state courts as well as their federal, state, and local administrative agencies. Brian’s practice focuses upon assisting companies with unfair competition issues, such as the theft of trade secrets and the enforcement of noncompete, nonsolicitation, nondisclosure, and confidentiality agreements. In addition, Brian regularly advises employers facing employment discrimination lawsuits and wage garnishment matters.

Prior to returning to his hometown and joining Littler’s Cleveland office, Brian worked as a management-side employment attorney in the New York City office of a full-service national law firm. Outside of work, Brian currently serves in several leadership positions with Cleveland area nonprofit organizations, including on the boards of the Cornell Club of Northeast Ohio and the Metanoia Project. Brian also remains actively involved in volunteering for various Saint Ignatius High School alumni activities.

Previously, Brian served on Littler’s 2022 Associates Council.
