Brian P. FitzGerald
Brian P. FitzGerald is a management-side employment attorney who represents employers across Ohio and New York in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies at all levels. His practice focuses on helping companies protect their competitive interests, including trade secret matters and the enforcement of noncompete, nonsolicitation, nondisclosure, and confidentiality agreements. Brian also regularly advises employers navigating employment disputes, including whistleblower and discrimination claims, as well as wage garnishment and assignment issues.
Before returning to his hometown to join Littler’s Cleveland office, Brian practiced as a management-side employment attorney in New York City with a full-service national law firm. Outside the office, Brian is active in the Cleveland community and serves in leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations, including the board of the Cornell Club of Northeast Ohio. He stays connected to his alma mater through the Saint Ignatius High School alumni network and contributes to pro bono efforts, including Cuyahoga Community College’s Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Legal Clinic.
Within Littler, Brian is a member of the firm’s Environmental Committee and Sub-Committee. He previously served on Littler’s 2022 Associates Council and led the Cleveland office’s 2023 Summer Associate Program.
