Alberto Tabales Maldonado

Alberto Tabales Maldonado is an experienced labor and employment litigator, representing clients before federal and local courts, as well as administrative agencies. His practice covers wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, among others. Alberto also handles labor arbitrations, mediations, and administrative hearings, providing strategic guidance in both unionized and non-unionized environments.

In addition to litigation, Alberto advises employers on compliance with labor laws, workplace policies, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the workplace. His practice also includes commercial and retail litigation – particularly Department of Consumer Affairs matters – and employee benefits compliance, including ERISA and benefits practice.

Beyond his legal practice, Alberto serves as an Administrative Judge for the Sports Appeals and Arbitration Court (Tribunal de Apelaciones y Arbitraje Deportivo) and is the current President of Organización de Exalumnos de APS, reflecting a strong commitment to leadership and community engagement.
