Best Practices in Correcting FLSA Compliance Problems – Both Out of Court and In Litigation

Wednesday, February 4

  • 8:00 AM PST

Memphis, TN

This program is designed for in-house counsel and HR professionals.

All too often employers learn of misclassification problems, time-keeping lapses and other wage and hour issues long after those problems have created potential liability or, even worse, after a complaint is filed in federal court. This program is designed to offer insight into:

  • How to correct wage and hour issues once you have discovered you have a problem
  • Issues related to reclassifying employees before or after a lawsuit has been filed
  • Effectively defending or settling claims, both individual and collective

The discussion of substantive wage and hour issues will offer insight into the various overtime and minimum wage exemptions and common misclassification pitfalls, off-the-clock work issues, troublesome pay practices, record-keeping issues, compliance lessons for managers, and types of claims currently spawning collective litigation.

Please register for this event by January 30, 2015.

This program will also be held in the afternoon on February 4, 2015.
