Littler Mendelson Continues Explosive Growth with 18 New Attorneys in New York, Long Island, and Newark

San Diego, CA/ June 1, 2006 -- Littler Mendelson, the nation's largest employment and labor law firm, today announced the addition of several new attorneys in its New York, Long Island and Newark offices. The remarkable growth represents the firm's increasingly powerful east coast presence and further augments the depth of Littler Mendelson's specialized practice and top-notch client service.

In Littler New York, where there has been a 100 percent increase in attorney growth since March 2006, the following talent has been added, seven of which were previously with Grotta, Glassman & Hoffman, P.C.:


  • Craig R. Benson, who represents private and public sector employers in every type of employment litigation, including jury trials; Bruce R. Millman, experienced in counseling public and private sector employers with respect to business and legal issues and strategies involving personnel policies; Bertrand B. Pogrebin, whose area of practice concentrates on labor relations and employment law issues for public and private sector employers; Gregory B. Reilly, whose professional experience includes litigating employment law cases before federal and state trial and appellate courts and anti-discrimination agencies. Reilly was formerly with the law firm Reed Smith LLP and; and David M. Wirtz, a first-chair litigator advising management in both private and public sectors with respect to labor and employment law matters.

Since February 2006, Littler's Newark-based office experienced rapid growth with the addition of six new attorneys, also from the law firm Grotta, Glassman & Hoffman, P.C. These new attorneys are shareholders Tedd J. Kochman, Russell J. McEwan, Alan I. Model and Glenn J. Smith; of counsel, Keith J. Rosenblatt; and associate Katy Shi-Klepper.
