Before taking office, President Biden promised to be "the most pro-union president you've ever seen." More than a year into his administration, the President and the Congress have worked diligently to carry out their labor and employment agenda in Washington, D.C. Littler's Workplace Policy Institute (WPI) will discuss the current legislative and regulatory landscape at the federal and state levels in 2022 and what other developments we can expect heading into the midterm elections. Specific topics will include:

  • Federal and state developments related to overtime, joint employer, and worker classification
  • The continuing impact of COVID-19 on safety regulation
  • Recent developments from the National Labor Relations Board
  • The latest on the PRO Act and other state legislation impacting the workplace
  • The future of work
