For better or worse, the online experience has become intertwined with how society operates in everyday life, and despite employers’ best efforts, sharing, posting and updating on social media has become ubiquitous in and out of the workplace. What are the new benefits and dangers of social media in the workplace, and what legal risks are associated with a constant, and oftentimes, unfiltered stream of communication?
In this session, our attorneys will identify practical ways of dealing with increasingly common issues and discuss scenarios that examine the legal, regulatory, technological and social issues that continue to reshape the modern workplace.
