Effective October 29, 2018, New Jersey's Paid Sick and Safe Leave Law preempts the existing 13 municipal paid sick leave ordinances. While this will ease compliance for companies operating in multiple New Jersey locations, the new law poses new and different questions regarding compliance and implementation.
