As talks of reopening New York increase, New York employers will need to brace for what will hopefully be the final phase of their COVID-19 journey – reopening of business and operating in this new environment.
The first part of the webinar will provide employers with practical guidance on how to effectively navigate state and federal leave laws, such as the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, New York’s COVID-19 paid sick leave law, New York’s separate paid sick leave law (coming to New York in September 2020), New York Paid Family Leave, and more, all of which will be sought by returning employees.
The second half of the webinar will focus on various return to work issues, including employee safety, discrimination, and wage and hour issues that are likely to arise as business resumes and employers embrace the new normal.
