All employers with 100 or more employees that are required to file EEO-1 reports are being required to submit additional information on compensation paid and hours worked by their employees in 2017 and 2018. This so called Component 2 data will have to be filed by September 30, 2019.

Last week, the EEOC provided some additional information regarding the reporting process. Still more information is expected by mid-July when the EEOC has promised to open up the EEO-1 Component 2 reporting process.

With the expectation that the EEOC will meet its deadline, Littler is scheduling a webinar for July 19 to help employers understand the Commission's final instructions on filing and to provide simple, practical advice for compliance. The topics covered in this webinar will include:

  • The mechanics of filing
  • Definitions of key terms
  • What the EEOC can/will do with the information
  • The possibility of obtaining a hardship exemption
  • Risks of public disclosure of Component 2 information
  • Looking ahead to the future

12:00 - 1:00 pm PT
1:00 - 2:00 pm MT
