Digging In - A Practical Guide to L&E Diligence in M&A

Tuesday, April 28, 2026

  • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM PDT

Part Two of this series takes a deeper dive into the labor and employment issues typically reviewed during the due diligence phase of a transaction. The session surveys the full range of labor and employment (L&E) diligence areas to help attendees better define the appropriate scope of review in their deals. The panelists then focus on current hot button issues and areas of heightened enforcement risk, including wage and hour compliance, worker classification, and evolving leave and pay transparency requirements.

The program also highlights unique and emerging state and local laws that can materially impact deal risk, particularly for multistate employers. The panelists will also discuss union issues including withdrawal liability. Buyers and sellers will come away with a broader understanding of the scope of L&E diligence and a practical framework for spotting state specific issues that are often overlooked.
