The panels of international attorneys from Littler Global and Mattos Filho Avogados will examine what should be expected of Employee Committees and Arbitration; the application of similar rules in the United States and Europe; and will also engage in a lively discussion on global immigration issues and the impact of the new labor law on Brazil’s competitiveness at an international level. The topics to be covered include:

  • Works council: The whys, pros and cons of this model and its application in Brazil
  • Immigration and expats: New restrictions in the U.S., Europe and Brazil
  • The New Labor Law: Its impact on the labor costs and Brazil’s ability to compete in foreign markets
