Tom A. Wiseman represents employers in matters covering all areas of state and federal labor and employment law, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, failure to accommodate/engage in the interactive process, as well as complex class and representative actions under PAGA and other provisions of the Labor Code. 

Tom has extensive experience litigating in state and federal courts throughout California, as well as state and federal administrative agencies, including the California Civil Rights Department (formerly the Department of Fair Employment and Housing) and the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission. 

Tom also provides preventative advice, counseling, and employee handbook, policy, procedure, and agreement reviews to regional, national, and multinational employers operating in California in various industries.

In law school, Tom served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Timothy B. Taylor of the San Diego Superior Court, was an editor on the Thomas Jefferson Law Review, earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Employment Law, and finished 10th in his class.
