Ashley D.N. Jones counsels and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters. Ashley’s background includes successfully defending clients facing a wide variety of labor and employment law issues, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She has extensive experience representing employers before administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and state and local EEO agencies. In addition, Ashley has successfully conducted settlement negotiations and mediations. 

In addition to her litigation experience, Ashley has substantial experience in counseling management and human resource professionals on best practices to avoid potential litigation. She has advised clients in the drafting of and revision of employment policies and employee handbooks to comply with federal and state laws.    

Prior to working at Littler, Ashley was an associate at a large multipractice firm, where she focused her practice primarily on employment matters involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Previously, Ashley served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Karen Wells Roby of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

During law school, Ashley served as the problems and briefs co-chair of the Charles Hamilton Houston National Moot Court Team, and president of the Howard Public Interest Law Society. Ashley was also selected and served as a Henry Ramsey Dean’s Fellow, where she helped first- and second-year law students build their legal research and writing skills.

Ashley also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on juvenile immigrant asylum.
