Jennifer Jones has a wide range of experience in labor relations and collective bargaining matters; federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; as well as common law employment issues including:

  • Arbitration, mediation and litigation
  • Labor relations and collective bargaining
  • Employee investigations
  • State and federal appellate litigation
  • Labor and employment counseling
  • FMLA compliance
  • Title VII/ADA/ADEA/IHRA compliance

A sampling of Jennifer's background includes:

  • Representing, counseling and defending employers in all aspects of labor and employment law including labor relations, collective bargaining, employee discipline and employment discrimination litigation
  • Counseling management on duty to bargain, unfair labor practice avoidance, management rights and other labor law issues
  • Representing management interests by handling all aspects of labor arbitration and unfair labor practice hearings
  • Representing management in collective bargaining agreement negotiations
  • Representing employers in hearings, oral arguments, mediation and fact-finding conferences in a variety of forums including state and federal court, state labor boards, the IDHR and the EEOC
  • Conducting investigations and preparing fact-finding reports related to a variety of internal employment related complaints including allegations of harassment and discrimination
  • Handling all stages of pre-trial litigation to defend employers against actions filed in state and federal court
  • Successfully defended class action ADEA litigation
  • Reviewing employment policies for compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations

Prior to joining Littler, Jennifer was an attorney in the labor and employment practice group of a full-service Chicago law firm representing public bodies.
