Temple University Hospital Workers End Strike, Ratify Four-Year Contract

Temple University Hospital workers are back on the job after a 28-day strike.  The 1500 workers represented by the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals (PASNAP) -- 950 RNs and 500 professional and technical workers -- ratified two four-year contracts to end the strike.  The hospital and PASNAP reached agreement on the issues that remained outstanding, including tuition reimbursement, health insurance premiums, and wages.
